To facilitiate this on our virtual learning environment we offer a variety of options to help you to complete your course.
We also offer CTLLS for groups and business, Level 3 Assessing Awards and a combined First Aid Trainer course which allows candidates with a current first aid at work certificate or exemption to gain a train the trainer qualification and qualify them to teach a wide range of first aid courses, including First Aid at Work.
The Preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector course is the foundation level teaching qualification (QCF) and is appropriate for anyone who considering training to teach or train adults in the lifelong learning sector, it is often called PTTLS in error.
Our popular comprehensive intensive PTLLS course is delivered over 4 consecutive days, combining a variety of theories and principles with practical sessions, throughout it's delivery this course is offered at our training centre every month.
All new PTLLS bookings will be using the new Award which has a QCF credit value of 12.

We also offer a distance PTLLS course which involves home study through our new Moodle Based Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) where you can watch a series of videos, complete the lessons and assignments with online tutor support, our tutors mark your work and when you are ready you can complete your micro teach presentations and peer evaluations during 1 day in our classroom in Colchester, Essex.
All training materials are available as soon as you are enrolled on your course, we provide templates and guides to help you through your course, so you can get started straight away.
We can offer onsite courses for companies who are interested in training the trainer to undertake in-house training, if you have a group of 8 or more please contact us for more information.
Assessor and Verifier Awards and Certifications
We now offer the Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement and the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement. Course work is accessed via our Virtual Learning Environment
Entry Requirements and information
All Train the Trainer entrants need to have the personal and intellectual abilities to acquire the knowledge and understand the skills needed to gain this award.
All entrants must be able to read effectively and communicate clearly and accurately in written and spoken standard English.
This 4 day course also allows learners to commence their professional development within the teaching profession.

Our Training Centre is situated in Ipswich Road, Colchester, Essex, we have ample free parking and are ideally situated just 40 minutes from London Liverpool Street Station if you are travelling by train.
